Newark Liberty Airport

Visual Design
( Summary )

I was part of a talented team of designers working on the new Terminal A at Newark Liberty Airport (EWR). My contributions included designing characters, illustrating iconic New Jersey landmarks, and exploring the state's rich history. Fully immersing myself in the essence of New Jersey, I helped craft a memorable experience for travelers, ensuring that every detail resonated with the spirit of the region.

Illustrations of New jersey staples

I loved illustrating and designing these looks for the new boarding pillars. They were used as part of the New Jersey trivia all around the airport.

Character Designs of boarding passengers

We wanted to celebrate the different people that travel through EWR, so I worked on designing different types of characters that will be boarding along side the travellers.

Designing content for the pillars

As cool as I thought these pillars are, designing for them wasn't the easiest task. I had to take into account each pillar and which direction it was facing, while making sure the text would be visible and readable from any angle.
